My attempt to make something "low gi" for breakfast or snack. I should have just stuck to eating the bran, LoL. However, this is super delicious!!! I would normally have used Xylitol in this, but I was out.

Recipe Ingredients for Granola Cereal Stuff

1/2 cup Bran Buds
3 tsp Light Sugar
2 1tsp Olive Oil
0.33 cup macadamia nuts
56 g Organic Just Soy Nuts (oz)

Recipe Directions for Granola Cereal Stuff

  1. Put sugar and oil in a skillet, allow to heat up thoroughly and sugar to melt. It will, eventually.

  2. Put in the bran buds, macadamias, and soy nuts and stir them around so they do not burn. Stir until somewhat toasted - but these can go burnt very quickly, so be careful.

  3. Serve hot with milk, let cool, or do whatever with it (but if you use Xylitol do NOT feed it to animals).
