How I fulfilled my cravings when I went gluten free. Amazing with an apple for a breakfast on the run, a late-night post-workout snack...I've even had them for dinner once or twice.

Recipe Ingredients for Granola Bars

2 cup Oats, Rolled, Quick Cooking
35 g Whey Protein Powder
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2/3 cup almonds, chopped
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup sesame seeds, toasted
1/2 cup flax
1/2 cup Sunflower Seeds
1/3 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
1/3 cup honey
2 tablespoon water
1/2 t salt

Recipe Directions for Granola Bars

  1. Mix dry.

  2. Mix wet.

  3. Mix together.

  4. Bake at 325 or so for about 15 minutes, until lightly golden. Err on the side of less cooked. Cool, slice before entirely cold. I store in the fridge but they're fine on the counter too.
