Yummy breakfast oatmeal bars. This recipe is meant to replace breakfast.

Recipe Ingredients for Granola Bars

3 cups quick cooking oats
1 cup rice flour
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup ground flax seed
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 cup applesauce
1/3 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Granola Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Line 8x8 pan with foil and spray with PAM.

  3. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, flax seed, cinnamon, and chocolate chips in bowl.

  4. Combine applesauce, honey, and vanilla in small bowl.

  5. Pour applesauce mixture into oat mixture and incorporate.

  6. Press into pan and bake for 30 minutes.
