Recipe Directions for Granola Bars 3 - Protein Additive

  4. Place the almonds, dried cranberries, dried cherries, raisins and dried edamame in the food processor and chop.

  5. Place all dry ingredients in bowl and mix.

  6. Add the butter and the sweetened condensed milk and mix thoroughly.

  7. Turn the mixture onto a cookie sheet lined with a silicone baking sheet.

  8. Spread to edged of cooked sheet with spatula.

  9. Cover the mixture with waxed paper.

  10. Use a rolling pin to spread the mixture flat and to the edges of the pan.

  11. Bake about 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

  12. Cut the bars into twenty 4-1/2" x 2-3/16" bars using a pizza cutter.

  13. Remove from tray and place on cooling racks.
