Homemade chocolate chip peanut butter granola bars. Makes approximately 24 bars. YUMMY!

Recipe Ingredients for granola bar

3 egg whites
2 cups Confectioners Sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
2 cups quaker oats
1 cup rice crispies
1/2 cup Grape-nuts Cereal
1 cup granola
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup walnuts
1/3 cup coconut flakes

Recipe Directions for granola bar

  1. Melt butter and peanut butter, set aside to start to cool.

  2. Beat egg whites and salt till thickened about 10 mins. Add confectioners sugar. Beat till combined.

  3. Slowly add buttet and peanut butter mixture.

  4. In separate large bowl mix remaining ingredients.

  5. Add liquid mixture to dry and mix till combined.

  6. Transfer to 15 x 10 bar pan.

  7. Covet with wax papet and use rolling pin to flatten evenly in pan.

  8. Bake 350 for 15 min.

  9. Let cool, cut and serve
