Fresh and wholesome granola, no preservatives and ready for breakfast or snack.

Recipe Ingredients for granny d's granola

1 1/2 cups honey
1 stick unsalted butter
6 cups rolled oats
2 cups shredded coconut
1 cup raisins
1 cup dried cranberries
1 cup slivered almonds
1 cup chopped dried apricots

Recipe Directions for granny d's granola

  1. In medium saucepan place honey and butter and warm over low

  2. heat. Meanwhile, in large bowl combine oats, almonds and coconut

  3. adding the warm honey and butter. Toss well and spread on

  4. baking sheet. Place in preheated 350 degree oven, bake for

  5. 30 min. till golden and crisp, tossing occassionally during baking

  6. time.

  7. Place toasted oat mixture in large bowl adding fruits and toss

  8. once more. Package in food storage bags of tightly sealed

  9. container.
