Recipe Ingredients for granny boyd's biscuits

300 g flour
30 g cocoa
250 g butter, softened
125 g sugar
2 tsp baking powder

Recipe Directions for granny boyd's biscuits

  1. sieve together flour, baking powder and cocoa, set aside

  2. cream butter and sugar until pale and soft, then work in the dry ingredients

  3. keep working the ingredients until dough forms

  4. roll into walnut size balls and arrange with space between them on a baking sheet, press down with the back of a fork

  5. bake for 5 minutes at 325 c, then for 10 minutes at 300 c

  6. remove from oven and transfer immediately to rack to cool
