My grandmother's recipe for holiday cookies

Recipe Ingredients for Grannie's Holiday Sparklers

1 c Vegan Buttery Sticks
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp almond extract
2 c flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 c chocolate chips

Recipe Directions for Grannie's Holiday Sparklers

  1. Cream the softened butter and sugar. Blend in the vanilla and almond extracts.

  2. Stir in the flour and salt, 1/3 amount at a time.

  3. Shape the dough, about a teaspoon-full, around 3 chocolate chips to make a small ball. Dip one side of the each ball into colored sugar. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet.

  4. Bake at 325 F for 15-20 minutes.
