Recipe Ingredients for Grandpa Currier's Awful Waffles

2 1/4 cups water
1 cup quick oats
1/2 cup garbanzo beans
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
2 tbs sunflower seeds
2 tbs dates
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla flavoring

Recipe Directions for Grandpa Currier's Awful Waffles

  1. Pre-soak garbanzo beans overnight.

  2. Mix all ingredients in a blender and pour into preheated waffle iron (sprayed with non-stick cooking spray on medium heat) for approximately 10 minutes.
