This fudge has few recipes, and all that you normally have around. It's very handy to have a candy thermometer for this recipe. They take all the guesswork out of it, and are so handy (and you can get one for $7!).

Recipe Ingredients for Grandma's Super easy PB fudge

1 1/2 cups peanut butter
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups white sugar
1 cup 2% milk
1 tablespoon margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe Directions for Grandma's Super easy PB fudge

Combine sugar and milk in a saucepan. Over meduim heat, bring to a boil, stirring constantly. When temp reaches 215, add peanut butter. This is going to drop the temp. Keep stirring until the mixture reaches 234 degrees. This is the soft ball stage, although the soft ball test never seems to work for me (thus the need for the candy thermometer). Once it reaches 234, remove from heat and stir in the margarine and vanilla. Vigorously stir the mixture for about 5 minutes, until it starts to stiffen (stirring in the same direction at all times). Pour into a buttered cake pan (I like to use the silicone pans. Don't have to butter them, and once cool, the fudge pops right out). Cut into squares and enjoy.
