Best sauce I have ever tasted. Great for more than just spaghetti!!!

Recipe Ingredients for Grandma's Spaghetti Sauce!!

1 1/2 lbs 96% lean ground beef
1 (large) onion
1 (large) Bell Pepper
15 oz tomato paste
6 oz tomato sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion salt
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for Grandma's Spaghetti Sauce!!

  1. Chop Onion and Bell Pepper.

  2. Place Onion and Bell Pepper in small pot & boil for 10-15 minutes.

  3. While onion is cooking, cook ground beef in frying pan being careful not to fry but only gently brown.

  4. Drain excess grease from skillet.

  5. Drain water from onions and pepper.

  6. In the pot, mix all ingredients and bring to a simmer adding only enough water to give a loose mix.

  7. Simmer for 15 min. stirring occasionally.

  8. Add water to create desired thickness and let simmer for 45-60 minutes stirring occasionally.
