5 root veggies and beef, complete comfort food! Best crockpot recipe ever!

Recipe Ingredients for Grandma's Soup

1/2 lb beef, cubed
5 cups water
3 carrots
5 potatoes
1 stalk celery
1 leek
2 turnips
1 oz. beef bouillon

Recipe Directions for Grandma's Soup

  1. brown beef cubes, slowly

  2. put water in big pot

  3. cut up all veggies and add to pot

  4. add 'soup greens' like fesh parsley & dill

  5. add beef bouillon cubes - about 2 or 3

  6. simmer for 1-3 hours on low

  7. Gram would put in just a drop or 2 of Gravy Master 'for color'
