Simple yet a Christmas favorite. I use 1 cup of Becel with Olive Oil, instead of butter. which has Vitamin A, and 30% of your Vitamin D for a day. I had to trick the recipe in order to evaluate it, and even so, is not correct.

Recipe Ingredients for Grandmas Shortbread

1/2 cup icing sugar
1/2 cup cornstarch
1 cup margarine,
1 cup flour

Recipe Directions for Grandmas Shortbread

  1. Cream Becel margarine until smooth

  2. add sifted icing sugar, flour and corn starch.

  3. Chill in rolls and slice or

  4. roll into 1.5 inch balls, then pat down with a floured fork.

  5. Bake at 300 F for 12-15 min. careful not to brown.
