16 oz Butter
2 cup Sugars, Granulated
8 large Egg, Whole
1 dash Salt, Table
1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
3.75 cup Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
0.5 tsp Mace, Ground

Recipe Directions for Grandma's Pound Cake

  1. Cream Butter and sugar.

  2. Add eggs one at a time.

  3. Add dry ingredients, then vanilla. Mix well.

  4. Bake in greased and floured pans at 325 for about 1 hour.
