Recipe Ingredients for Grandma's Molasses Cookies

16 tbs Domino Premium Pure Cane Granulated Sugar
1 medium Egg
4 serving Molasses
2.25 cup Gold Medal Unbleached All Purpose Flour
2 teaspoon Baking Soda
0.053 oz Salt
1 tsp Cloves, Ground
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
1 tsp Ginger, Ground

Recipe Directions for Grandma's Molasses Cookies

  1. Combine the shortening, sugar, egg, and molasses into a bowl, mixing thoroughly.

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients one by one and stir well.

  3. Chill the dough for about an hour.

  4. Remove the dough from chiller and heat up the oven to 375.

  5. Roll the dough into walnut-sized balls, dip the tops in granulated sugar, and place them on well-greased baking sheets or cookie sheets.

  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes.

  7. Remove from baking sheets to cool and enjoy!
