A recipe of my grandmas traditional Chinese steamed cake recipe. She uses only four of the eight asked for eggs.

Recipe Ingredients for Grandma's Ma Lai Go

4 large Egg, Whole
1 cup Sugars, Granulated
3 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
3 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 1/2 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
0.33 cup Vegetable Oil, Canola
1 fruit yields Orange Juice

Recipe Directions for Grandma's Ma Lai Go

  1. Beat the eggs and sugar.

  2. Mix in the dry ingredients and milk alternating.

  3. Add in the orange juice then the oil.

  4. Pour into pans or bowls.

  5. Steam until it passes the toothpick test.
