Makes 10 servings



Old-fashioned banana nut bread. The best I've found, handed down from my grandmother.

Recipe Ingredients for Grandma's Banana Nut Bread

1/2 c. margarine
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1 c. sugar
1 cup mashed bananas
1 t. baking soda
2 c. flour
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. walnuts or other nut

Recipe Directions for Grandma's Banana Nut Bread

  1. Mix ingredients in order given.

  2. Place in greased and floured loaf pan, or cans, filled only 1/2 full.

  3. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

  4. Done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
