A wonderful moist meatloaf with a lighter twist, turkey sausage! This recipe makes one loaf.

Recipe Ingredients for Grandma McDuffee's Meatloaf

1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 pound turkey sausage
1 slice of bread
1/2 onion, finely diced
1 egg
1/8 teaspoon sage

Recipe Directions for Grandma McDuffee's Meatloaf

  1. In a large bowl, combine two links of turkey sausage with one pound of lean ground beef.

  2. To the meat mixture, add half a finely diced onion, one slice of bread, torn, one egg, 1/8 tsp of sage and salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

  3. Form the mixture into a loaf shape. Place inside a loaf pan and bake at 350 for an hour and a half.
