This is a moist cake that my grandmother used to make, which has been passed down through the family. It is still one of my favorites. I never thought I would like a cake made with tomato soup until I tried it.

Recipe Ingredients for Grandma Emily's Tomato Soup Cake

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup butter
10 3/4 ounce tomato soup
2 eggs

Recipe Directions for Grandma Emily's Tomato Soup Cake

Beat margarine and sugar. Add eggs and tomato soup (undiluted). Mix flour, baking powder and spices. Add to soup mixture. Bake in greased 9x13 pan or 2 round cake pans at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool and frost with cream cheese frosting.
