Recipe Ingredients for Grandma Boger's Baked Beans

3 cups dry navy beans
6 cups water
1 large onion
1 tablespoon molasses
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Grandma Boger's Baked Beans

  1. Bring beans to boil in 6 cups water and cook for 5 minutes.

  2. Place remaining ingredients, except onion into covered casserole or bean pot.

  3. Place onion in the center.

  4. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 6-10 hours, adding more water as needed to keep creamy but not runny.
