Recipe Ingredients for Grand Beach Chicken (or Lamb) Rogan Josh

16 oz chicken, chopped into bite-sized chunks
1/2 cup garlic
2 tsp ginger
1 tsp turmeric
3 tsp garam masala
2 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp ground cumin
8 oz DANNON Plain Lowfat
1 teaspoon red chili powder
2 medium onions - finely chopped
14 oz chopped plum tomatoes

Recipe Directions for Grand Beach Chicken (or Lamb) Rogan Josh

  1. In a heavy non stick or well seasoned skillet with a cover use a light spray of canola oil to just wet the pan.

  2. Over medium high heat at the garlic, ginger and other spices.

  3. When garlic starts to brown at 1/2 cup water and stir until the onions are translucent.

  4. Add tomato and stir for 5 min.

  5. Add chicken and yoghurt and lower to simmer.

  6. Cover pan and stir every 10 minutes for 60 minutes.
