Lasagne with meatballs & tomato sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Gran lasagne

250 g minced beef, lean
1 egg
200 g pasta, wholemeal
900 g canned tomatoes
250 g mozzarella, half fat
250 g ricotta cheese, full fat
50 g basil
50 g parsley
2 cloves garlic
1 large onion

Recipe Directions for Gran lasagne

  1. Make meatballs (mince, crushed garlic clove, egg & chopped parsley) & cook on tray in oven at 180C for 10 minutes.

  2. Make tomato sauce (crushed garlic & finely chopped onion, tinned tomatoes, basil stalks then basil leaves at end).

  3. Alternate layers of tomato sauce, pasta, cheese & meatballs finishing with cheese and meatballs.

  4. Bake at 180C for 40 minutes.
