Grammy's Lasagne Recipe

Gotta have it once in a while, just wanted to know how bad it really is :-P

Recipe Ingredients for Grammy's Lasagne

3/4 pounds lasagna noodles
12 oz part skim ricotta
2 pounds part skim mozzarella
8 ounces Parmesan (fresh, shredded)
15 oz Ragu sauce (or any other jarred sauce)
2 eggs (beaten)
3 tbs fresh parsley (chopped)
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder

Recipe Directions for Grammy's Lasagne

  1. Preheat oven to 350

  2. In large mixing bowl combine ricotta, eggs, garlic & onion powders and finely chopped parsley.

  3. Boil noodles in water for 12 minutes, drain.

  4. Spray bottom of 9 x 13" pan

  5. spread thin layer of sauce on bottom

  6. layer 3-4 noodles, overlapping edges

  7. spread 1/2 ricotta mixture over noodles

  8. spread 3-4 tablespoons sauce over cheese

  9. spread just under half parm over top

  10. spread just under half mozzarella over top

  11. repeat layers once

  12. end with layer of noodles, spread thin layer sauce over top, sprinkle with reserved parm & mozarella

  13. cover with foil sprayed with cooking spray

  14. Bake 55-60 minutes.

  15. (Can also refrigerate prior to serving)
