These are exquisite graham crackers. Similar to store bought but much better and better for you, especially if made with whole grains and organic ingredients.

Recipe Ingredients for Graham crackers

1 1/3 cup spelt flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 tablespoons rolled oats
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons water
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

Recipe Directions for Graham crackers

  1. Measure dry ingredients into a bowl and mix well with a fork.

  2. Measure wet ingredients into a bowl and mix well with a spoon.

  3. Pour liquid mix into dry mix and stir to consolidate.

  4. Adjust moisture by adding more flour or water. Dough should be smooth and only slightly sticky.

  5. Roll out in a cookie sheet and cut into squares.

  6. Bake at 350 about 12 or 15 minutes until cookies are only slightly brown at edges.

  7. Remove crackers from pan and place on wire rack.

  8. Place rack back in turned off warm oven for about 20 minutes to make sure crackers are crisp.
