Gourmet Tuna Salad - Lightened Up

Recipe Ingredients for Gourmet Tuna Salad - Lightened Up

1 can Tuna, Light, Canned In Water
1 medium (4-1/8" long) Onions, Spring Or Scallions
0.5 stalk, medium (7-1/2" - 8" long) Celery
2 tbsp Olives Sliced Green
1 tbsp, drained Capers, Canned
0.13 cup Slivered Almonds
1 Teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
2 oz Greek, Non-Fat, Plain Yogurt
2 tbsp Light Sour Cream

Recipe Directions for Gourmet Tuna Salad - Lightened Up

  1. 1 (12 ounce) can albacore tuna in water, drained and flaked

  2. 2 green onions, chopped

  3. 1 stalk celery, diced

  4. 1/4 cup pimento-stuffed green olives, chopped

  5. 2 tablespoons capers, chopped

  6. 1/4 cup blanched slivered almonds

  7. 1 dash Worcestershire sauce

  8. 1/2 cup plain non-fat Greek yogurt

  9. 1/4 cup light sour cream

  10. DIRECTIONS:

  11. In a mixing bowl, combine tuna, green onions, celery, green olives, capers and almonds. In a small bowl, whisk together yogurt, sour cream and Worcestershire sauce.

  12. Blend together dressing and tuna mixture. Serve on bed of lettuce or with croissant as a tuna salad sandwich.
