Quick version of the traditional Hungarian casserole. For better flavor, go with a longer-simmering recipe or crock pot... but this will do for those days you need something in a half hour!

Recipe Ingredients for Goulash

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. macaroni
1/2 c. onion
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. worcestershire
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. pepper

Recipe Directions for Goulash

  1. Cook macaroni.

  2. Brown beef and onion with seasonings (I only use pepper, but of course you can add salt here too).

  3. Combine with remaining ingredients.
