Italian sausage and loads of veggies to flavor the dish.

Recipe Ingredients for Goulash... w/ italian sausage

8 oz Italian ground sausage
2 cups cherry tomatoes
2 1/2 cups tomato sauce
2 cups broccoli, chopped
1 cup onion
2 cups vegetable broth
4 cups brown rice
1 large red pepper

Recipe Directions for Goulash... w/ italian sausage

  1. saute ground sausage in skillet. Once done, drain meat reserving the fat in the pan.

  2. Add broccoli to pan, and saute until mostly done. Add onions and peppers. Continue stirring until veggies are softened.

  3. Add tomato sauce and cherry tomatoes. Allow to simmer.

  4. Add 2 cups vegetable broth along with two cups water to pot along with brown rice. Cook according to instructions.

  5. Serve goulash over rice.
