Recipe Ingredients for Gooseberry Currant sauce

1/2 c gooseberries
1/2 c currants
1/4 c honey
1/4 c rice wine
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp rosemary, ground

Recipe Directions for Gooseberry Currant sauce

  1. wash and trim fruit

  2. add gooseberries to small sauce pan and heat on low for 15 minutes

  3. add currants and heat until berries are soft and begin to release juice

  4. stir berries to break open and allow mixture to reduce until thickened

  5. puree berry mix and strain

  6. add wine, honey, and seasoning
