FILLED WITH LEAN BEEF AND TENDER FRESH GREEN BEANS SMOTHERED IN TOMATOES SAUCE WITH ONIONS AND GARLIC, GREAT COMFORT FOOD.

Recipe Ingredients for GOOD FOR YOU SOUP

2 1/2 pounds lean beef
2 pounds fresh green beans
2 cups tomatoe sauce
1 large onion
4 garlic cloves
2 cups water
3 tbls olive oil
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp allspice

Recipe Directions for GOOD FOR YOU SOUP

  1. DICE ONIONS AND MASH GARLIC.

  2. IN A LARGE POT ON MEDIUM HEAT, COOKED GARLIC AND ONIONS UNTIL TRANSLUCENT.

  3. ADD IN MEAT CUT INTO 1" PIECES.

  4. ADD IN SALT, PEPPER AND ALLSPICE.

  5. COOK UNTIL MEAT IS BROWNED.

  6. ADD IN GREEN BEANS.

  7. ADD IN TOMATOES SAUCE, STIR.

  8. TOP OFF WITH 2 CUPS WATER.

  9. BRING TO A BOIL,THEN LOWERING HEAT SIMMER 2-3 HOURS, OR UNTIL MEAT IS FORK TENDER.

  10. SERVE OVER WHITE RICE.
