Recipe Ingredients for Good Old-fashioned Pancakes

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
1 1/4 cups 2% milk
6 tablespoons butter

Recipe Directions for Good Old-fashioned Pancakes

  1. Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Make a funnel in the middle.

  2. Combine milk and egg. Melt 3 tablespoons butter. Add milk, egg and 3 tablespoons melted butter to flour mixture and mix well.

  3. heat skillet over medium-high heat and add 1/3 cup batter to skillet. cook until browned and bubbles on top and dry around edges. flip and cook other side until browned and not raw on the inside. spread butter on both sides after taking off the grill.
