This vegan gravy is perfect for mashed potatoes, stuffed squash, biscuits and gravy or my favorite use, to top my gardein beefless tips. I puree mine to make a smooth, creamy concotion, but you could leave it chunky and serve it over quinoa.

Recipe Ingredients for Golden Mushroom Gravy

0.67 tbsp Original Natural Buttery Spread
1 onion Yellow Onion
455 grams Mushroom, Oyster
0.187 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
2 cup Vegetable Stock
2 tbsp Tamari Soy Sauce - Imported, Organic
1 tsp, ground Thyme, Dried

Recipe Directions for Golden Mushroom Gravy

  1. saute onion and mushroom in butter until onions are translucent and mushrooms soften.

  2. Whisk flour into stock along with tamari and thyme. Add to onion mixture uand cook over low-medium heat, stirring constantly.

  3. For smooth gravy, puree in blender.
