Freeze excess. You can use cream place of yoghurt. Mushroom can be added to stuffing- grated. the above is just for the golabki The sauce you willfind below under instructions

Recipe Ingredients for golabki

250 g minced beef
200 g rice, boiled
1 salt
1 black pepper
2 onion
1/2 kg cabbage
250 g mushroom

Recipe Directions for golabki

  1. Stuffing: boil the rice, once cooled mix in the minced meat, add in the onions cubed and fried mix well. Season well with salt and pepper.

  2. Sauce: 2 litres water, 2 beef cubes boil. Add salt , pepper, tomato paste checking on the taste. towards the end add pinch sugar.

  3. Paste: in a cup mix two tablespoons flour salt and cold water mix add yoghurt mix then add to sauce and mix well.

  4. Remove the middle of the cabbage with knife scooping it all out.Boil the cabbage whole till soft but not mushy.

  5. Remove the leaves carefully from the cabbage without breaking, gently trim out the rib from the back of the leaf.

  6. Place the stuffing into the leaf and wrap well with the cabbage making sure the stuffing well covered not able to escape.

  7. In a pan spread some left over cabbage inside the pan, the arrange the wrapped cabbage, once through cover top also with cabbage leaves and put inside oven. cooks between 1 1/2 hours and 2 hours.
