No goat meat in the data base so I found that one pound of goat meat cooked equals 486 calories and 8 ounces of beef stew meat equals 480 so I just substituted these in the analyzer.

Recipe Ingredients for Goat Stew

245 grams sweet potato
280 grams carrots
385 grams potato
3/8 cup uncooked rice
8 ounces beef stew meat
6 cups French onion soup, Pacific natural foods

Recipe Directions for Goat Stew

Put the French Soup and the goat meat in the crockpot and cook for 5 to 6 hours. Take out stew meat and add rest of ingredients plus spices (I added 4 cloves garlic, 2-3 tsps rosemary, salt and pepper). I cooked overnight and then added the stew meat back in and it was ready to serve.
