This is a low fat gluten-free falafel recipe.

Recipe Ingredients for Gluten-Free Falafel Recipe

30 oz of chick peas
2 tablespoon garlic
2 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon turmeric
6 minced scallions
1 cup parsley
1 egg
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 dash cayenne pepper
1/2 cup rice flour

Recipe Directions for Gluten-Free Falafel Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Put beans in a food processor and mash as much as possible.

  3. Put everything else except flour in the food processor and continue to chop it up until thoroughly blended.

  4. Put in a bowl and add flour until you get a firm, thick batter.

  5. Form into balls or patties and place on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake for 30 minutes until golden brown.
