A delicious addition to your Fall Dessert table! Substitute vegetable shortening for the butter and this will be dairy free as well!

Recipe Ingredients for Gluten Free Cranberry Apple Crisp

5 granny smith apples, cored, sliced & peeled
3 tbsp cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp cornstarch
14 oz cranberry sauce
1 1/4 cup rice flour
1 cup quinoa
6 oz butter

Recipe Directions for Gluten Free Cranberry Apple Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9x9 baking dish.

  2. Toss apple slices with 1/2 the cinnamon, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and cornstarch. Put in baking dish.

  3. Spread cranberry sauce evenly over top the apples.

  4. Mix remaining dry ingredients. Melt butter/shortening and drizzle over the dry mix, tossing to form large crumb. Spread over the fuit, clumping with your fingers as needed.

  5. Bake 40 minutes until top is golden brown and filling is bubbling. Let rest 30 min before serving.
