Tasty chocolate cake made in crockpot. Plan ahead for a tasty, dense chocolate dessert

Recipe Ingredients for Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake in Crockpot

1 package Gluten Free Cake Mix
3/4 c. cocoa, unsweetened
3 eggs, large (room temperature)
1/2 c. canola oil
1/2 c. water

Recipe Directions for Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake in Crockpot

  1. Mix cake according to package directions.

  2. Incorporate cocoa into batter.

  3. Spray crockpot with baking spray (I also line crock with parchment paper.)

  4. Pour batter in crock and cook on low heat for 3 hours or until no soft spots remain on cake top.

  5. DO NOT OPEN often while cooking.

  6. When toothpick comes out with moist, but not wet, crumb, turn off crock pot and let cake rest for 30 minutes.

  7. Sprinkle with confectioner's sugar, if desired.
