Recipe Ingredients for Gluten-Free Cheese Sauce

3 slice (6-1/4" x 4" x 1/16") Ham, Sliced, Regular
1 cup, shredded(113 g) Cheddar Cheese
4 oz Mozzarella, Part Skim Milk Cheese
0.25 cup Butter
2 cup Milk, Nonfat, Fluid
1/4 cup GF Sorghum Flour

Recipe Directions for Gluten-Free Cheese Sauce

  1. Melt butter in a medium saucepan on low heat

  2. Add sorghum flour (can be substituted with rice flour or amaranth) and mix well

  3. Add milk and turn up to medium heat

  4. Whisk mixture on medium heat until thick

  5. Turn down heat to low, then add cheese and ham

  6. Season (salt, pepper, chili flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, hot sauce, etc.) to taste

  7. Serve over your favourite GF pasta
