Recipe Ingredients for Gluten-Free Bean Burgers

16 oz chickpeas, drained & rinced
1 c cooked brown rice
1 large egg
1/2 c grated carrot
1/2 c apple, finely diced
2 tsp garlic, crushed
2 tbsp dried minced onion
1 tbsp ground cumin
1/2 tbsp chili powder
1/3 c fresh parsley, roughly chopped
7 tbsp scallions, chopped
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 salt and pepper, to taste

Recipe Directions for Gluten-Free Bean Burgers

  1. Mash chickpeas into a medium bowl.

  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Form ino 4 large patties. Set aside.

  3. Heat pan over medium-heat for a couple minutes.

  4. Add patties and cook 3-4 minutes per side.
