Recipe Ingredients for Gluten-Free Apple Pecan Bread

2 cup Arrowhead Mills Gluten Free Baking Mix
1 cup, quartered or chopped Apples
1/2 stick unsalted Butter
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 cup Egg Substitute, Liquid
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
3/4 cup Applesauce
1/2 cup Molasses
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup Pure Almond Original
1/2 cup, chopped unsalted Pecans

Recipe Directions for Gluten-Free Apple Pecan Bread

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Combine all dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients. Mix until all dry ingredients are moist and mixed well.

  3. Add apples and nuts and fold together.

  4. Turn into lightly greased bread pan or muffin tins (muffin papers optional) to 3/4 full.

  5. Bake until tops are lightly brown and toothpick comes out clean from the middle. Cool 5 minutes before removing. Store in refrigerator to retain moisture. Makes 12 muffins or 1 loaf served in 12 thin slices.
