Recipe Ingredients for Gluten-Free Alaskan Salmon Patties

1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp chopped Onions
1/4 cup White Corn Meal, Plain
1/2 tsp Old Bay Seasoning
1 serving Great Value Original Liquid Eggs
7 serving Alaskan Pink Salmon
1/4 tsp Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Gluten-Free Alaskan Salmon Patties

  1. Separate the salmon and remove the long and vertebrae bones. Break the salmon apart. Add the remaining ingredients and mash together with fork tines until blended well.

  2. Heat the olive oil to medium-high in an iron or stainless skillet until oil is shimmering and hot.

  3. While oil is heating, form into hamburger-shaped patties. This should yield (6) -1 oz patties. Add the patties one at a time. Reduce heat to medium to keep oil from over-heating. Allow patties to brown before flipping and cook until golden brown, 3-5 minutes each side.

  4. Note: This recipe uses very little oil if cooked on medium heat. Do not try to flip these too soon or they will fall apart. Season (salt) to taste after cooking. There is no added sodium to this recipe.
