A short cut version of Alton Brown's glazed carrots

Recipe Ingredients for Glazed Carrots

6 medium carrots
1 tsp butter
1 cup ginger ale

Recipe Directions for Glazed Carrots

  1. Cut carrots into 3/4 inch medallions and add to a large saute pan. Add butter and turn to medium high heat. Toss the carrots so they get coated.

  2. Add the ginger ale and cover with a lid. Simmer on medium for 10 minutes.

  3. Remove lid and simmer for 15 minutes or until the liquid has completely evaporated.
