Slow-cook for 5-6 hours. Beautiful soupy casserole, with a hint of ginger. Serve with steamed vegies and crusty bread.

Recipe Ingredients for Gingery Beef Casserole

800 grams Beef
4 cup Cooking Stock
1 tbsp Aged Balsamic Vinegar
1.5 tbsp Tomato Paste
0.5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
10 grams Ginger Root
20 grams Gold Medal All Purpose Flour
2 tsp Domino Dark Brown Sugar

Recipe Directions for Gingery Beef Casserole

  1. Dice beef into 1cm cubes and finely chop the ginger.

  2. Fry the beef in small batches, using the oil.

  3. Place all beef back into the frypan and add the flour, stirring continuously for about 1 minute.

  4. Add remaining ingredients and bring to the boil.

  5. Transfer to your preheated slow-cooker and cook on high for the first 2 hours and change setting to low for the remaining 3 or 4 hours.
