These are gingersnap cookies, high in sugar and fat but good for an occasional snack

Recipe Ingredients for Gingersnaps

3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger

Recipe Directions for Gingersnaps

Cream first 5 ingredients together and add dry ingredients, mixing well. Roll into balls approximately 1 teaspoonful. Roll balls in sugar and place onto cookie sheets. Do not press down as they flatten as they bake. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
