Recipe Ingredients for gingered chicken stew

2 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1/2 breast, bone and skin removed Chicken, Breast, Meat Only
1 clove Garlic
1 tbsp chopped Onions
1 tsp Ginger Root

Recipe Directions for gingered chicken stew

  1. 1. Saute ginger until golden brown. Then add garlic, saute until fragrant. Add the onion until it runs clear.

  2. 2. Add the chopped chicken, sprinkle some salt and peppercorns, cook until it changes color.

  3. 3. Add water and fish sauce (patis), simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  4. 4. Add the sayote and cook until fork-tender.

  5. 5. Add the chili leaves and turn off heat after 15 seconds.
