Recipe Ingredients for Gingerbread Dessert

1/2 cup Cooking Oil
1/2 cup Molasses
1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
3/4 tsp Ginger
1/4 tsp Cloves
1/4 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 cup Water
1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Whipping cream
2 tsp Granulated Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla

Recipe Directions for Gingerbread Dessert

  1. Beat egg in mixing bowl until frothy. Beat in cooking oil and molasses. Add first amount of sugar, ginger, cloves, cinnamon and salt. Beat slowly to combine

  2. Dissolve baking soda in boiling water. And and mixx

  3. Slowly mix in flower. Turn into greases 8x8 inch pan. Make in 350F oven about 35 to 40 minutes until and inserted wooden pick comes out clean

  4. Beat cream, second amount of sugar and vanilla in small bowl until stiff. Serve cake warm with whipped cream. Freezes well, Cuts into 9 pieces
