Gingerbread with egg beater substitution

Recipe Ingredients for Gingerbread Cake

7 oz. pastry flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. dried ginger
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. salt
1 7/10 oz. egg beaters
4 oz. granulated sugar
5 oz. molasses
4 oz. vegetable oil
4 oz. hot water

Recipe Directions for Gingerbread Cake

  1. Sift together all dry ingredients.

  2. In a seperate bowl whisk together all wet ingredients except for the hot water.

  3. Mix wet and dry ingredients together.

  4. Pour hot water over the mixture and continue to mix.

  5. Pour batter into a 9" cake pan and bake at 375F.
