With 3 tbsp. honey and 1/2 lemon juice per serving

Recipe Ingredients for Ginger Tea

4 oz. ginger root, peeled and sliced
1/2 gallon water
39 tbsp. honey
13 tbsp. lemon juice

Recipe Directions for Ginger Tea

  1. Put ginger and water in a pot and bring to a boil over high heat. Let simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Let sit without any heat and steep if you like the tea stronger. I like to let it steep for a couple of hours. Store in the refrigerator and make each cup with fresh honey and lemon juice, as follows:

  2. Heat a 10 oz cup of the tea in the microwave or a pot on the stove and add 3 tbsp. honey and the juice of 1/2 lemon. Some like a dash of cayenne.

  3. Stir and enjoy.
