Recipe Ingredients for Ginger Stir Fried Beef

1 1/2 cups brown rice
1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
3 cups water
3 medium onions
8 cloves garlic
3 cups Frozen Broccoli
3 cups Green Beans (french cut)
3 cups chopped Red Peppers
24 oz canned water chestnuts
15 grams (1 teaspoon) Kikkoman soy sauce
1 teaspoon pepper (McKormick Szechuan Style Pepper Blend)
1 tablespoon ginger
4 lbs Chopped Steak

Recipe Directions for Ginger Stir Fried Beef

  1. Chop onions, red pepper, and garlic

  2. drain water off water chestnuts

  3. Saute frozen and chopped vegetables with water chestnuts and soy sauce

  4. Put raw brown rice and chopped steak in skillet with oil and brown on medium heat

  5. Add the brown rice and steak to the sauted vegetables with water, ginger, and pepper blend

  6. Bring water to a boil and then turn heat down to medium and simmer until rice is slightly chewy (about 30 minutes) checking frequently to make sure the water doesn't evaporate before the rice is cooked
