Recipe Ingredients for ginger -soy chicken stir fry

2 tsp canola oil
2 tbs ginger (fresh, grated or trader joe's crushed)
2 cloves garlic
6 tbs soy sauce (lite)
4 tbs vinegar (white wine vinegar, or rice wine)
2 tbs brown sugar
1/2 lb chicken
3 cups cabbage
3/4 cup asparagus
3/4 cup broccoli
1/2 cup onion
1 tsp flour (corn starch)

Recipe Directions for ginger -soy chicken stir fry

  1. mix soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, and flour (corn starch) together

  2. In 1 tsp oil, stir fry cabbage, broccoli, and asparagus together for 2-3 minutes, until tender. Remove from heat and set aside. (if frozen and thawed veggies, skip this step and add later).

  3. In remaining oil, stir-fry onion for about 1-2 minutes. Add ginger and garlic. Stir-fry an additional 1 minutes.

  4. Add chicken, stir-fry until cooked through.

  5. Add veggies and sauce and stir-fry until sauce is thickened and everything is tender to your liking.

  6. Serve over rice.
