Recipe Ingredients for Ginger-Pork Stir-Fry

9 oz pork loin chop, cut into strips
3 tbl soy sauce, reduced sodium
1 tbl cornstarch
1 tbl canola oil
1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
1 carrot, thinly sliced
1 sweet onion, sliced
1 tbl freshly grated ginger
1 clove fresh garlic, crushed
8 oz bamboo shoots
2 oz almonds, raw

Recipe Directions for Ginger-Pork Stir-Fry

  1. Toss the pork with 1 tbl of soy sauce, garlic, and the cornstarch

  2. heat 2 tsp of the oil in a large nonstick skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the pork and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until cooked through. Transfer to a plate and reserve. Return the skillet to the heat and add the reamining 1 tsp oil.

  3. Add the pepper, carrot, onion, ginger, and bamboo shoots. Cook, stirring often, for 3 to 4 minutes or until crisp-tender. Add the reserved pork, almonds, and remaining soy sauce. Cook, stirring, for about 1 minute longer or until the pork is cooked through. Serve immediately.
